What is Stat Staff?
Stat Staff Professionals is a locally owned, nurse owned and operated stafing company. We specialize in per diem, contract, and travel opportunities for our fellow nurses, as well as allied health professionals.
Why should I choose Stat Staff over other staffing agencies?
Staff Staff prides itself on being nurse owned an operated. As members of the health and medical community, we can relate to our employers better than a company with no medical background. We understand your needs as a nurse; from what kinds of shifts work best for you, to what kinds of hospitals suit your needs and goals.
I'm not sure where I'd like to work, or what kinds of shifts. Can Stat Staff help me?
Yes! Our coordinators and recruiters get to know you not just as an employee or nurse, but as a person; one who needs to reach their potential in all they do. We learn what skills you have, what your schedule is like, what needs you have in terms of your career, and help you figure out what works best for you. When you need us, we'll be there to help.
What kind of benefits does Stat Staff offer? Stat Staff offers a wide range of benefits.
Some of these include contributions to a 401(k) plan, medical and dental benefits, and scholarship oppotunities. Read more about these benefits and others on our Benefits page.
What does it mean to be Joint Certified?
Stat Staff is proud to be a Joint Commission Certified Company, and this is beneficial for our employees, their patients and the facilities we work with. Being Joint Commision Ceritfied means that we meet their specially regulated standards regarding the quality of care given to patients. As a patient, family member, or community representative, you have the right to notify The Joint Commission regarding any concern about the quality of care provided by a Stat Staff employee. We want our employees to offer the best in care, and the Joint Commission helps usmake this possible. Read more about Joint Certification on their website here.
I don't want to stay in the area. Does Stat Staff offer travel opportunities?
Yes, we do. There are travel opportunities available everwhere from an hour away from your home, all the way to Alaska. For a nurse with at least 12 months of clinical experience, travel assignments last around 13 weeks, but a cusomized travel contract can be created for you. I just graduated nursing school and have only been a nurse for a few months.
Is there a place for me at Stat Staff? Absolutely. Most of our hospitals require nurses to have at least 1 year or experience, but until you're ready to be submitted to our facilities, Stat Staff and our sister company Adirondack Health and Wellness work together to hire nurses for their flu clinics.
